Earl dropped by the Vancouver Home and Design Show last nite and checked out a few exhibits - one we were interested in was Close Quarters, a swish 300-square-foot condo, envisioned by interior designer Alykhan Velji in tandem with Dado Designs and Resource Furniture (a few pics below):

Wide Plank Hardwood, manufacturer of wide plank, longer length hardware who believe the use of wider and longer length planks reduces the number of end and edge seams, creating a more authentic looking floor. Nice stuff.
