It's DIY time and this week it's a mash-up of a little bit of everything. From painted triangles on an old dresser to a pretty embellished paper lantern. Click below to see the treasures!
Above:
1. Painted Triangles Chest of Drawers
This fun little dresser update using painted triangles is from the Swedish blog, Hitta Hem - and although in Swedish, the how-to images are pretty straight forward. Click here to see!
A fun project for your next party and if you're having a baumy fall like we are, make these fun little lights for a little night soiree this weekend. Get the how-to from Aunt Peaches here.
DIY Gold Leaf Notepads by Hello Lucky |
The ladies of Hello Lucky have created a pretty gold leaf DIY for making notepads. Inspired by traditional nautical flags, they felt the pop of gold would compliment the classic color palettes seen in flags and a perfect back-to-school accessory for making lists.
4. Sharpie Mug
We've seen the sharpie paint pen doing tricks everywhere, but this one has it's own little shine. Get the how-to from Wild Olive.
5. Embellished Paper Lantern
A pretty idea for a girl's room or dressing room. Add paper flowers (hand cut or die cut) - or maybe even use Denise Sharp's ittle butterflies - see this post here for the download). Visit Glue Arts here for her how-to.
6. How to Make a Shell Wreath
An oldie but goodie and a fun little project to make with all the shells you collected this summer! Click here to see!
