And where does the water drain?
I actually chose a succulent because it requires minimal water ( it's in the cactus family). I simply water it once a week and let the water drain for a couple hours:).

Smart move on the succulent. I hadn't even thought of that part.
It would look really cool with one of those long vine plants but I can understand that wouldn't be too practical.

I love this idea. I'm going to make one for my studio. I just acquired several new plants and haven't decided where to put them yet.
