I love this idea I've been seeing about to hang paper lanterns from trees for an outdoor get together. Usually though the settings have been for more festive occasions like weddings or birthday parties; so when I saw this idea in September's issue of Chatelaine magazine, I love it even more for just an everyday occasion - like a backyard picnic. Or if you don't have a backyard (like us), maybe at a local park. How sweet to make something so everyday, special. Those are the best ideas don't you think? Get more ideas (from this shoot) for a backyard picnic here. Happy Weekend! Photo Roberto Caruso | Styling Julia Black for Chatelaine. (I purchased my digital issue of Chatelaine on Zinio here. Psssst - it's a double issue this month)!
