End of Summer: Dockside Dreaming

Guest post by Lily Ellis of Birch + Bird.

It seems our West Coast summers are far too fleeting and there's already a chill in the air come evening lately.  While the countdown 'til back-to-school is officially on, I'd still love to fit in at least one little getaway before we're back to the daily routine. A weekend away isn't quite in the budget but I'd be perfectly pleased to find myself on a quiet dock somewhere while the kids paddle around...

Did you smell that tinge of Fall in the air last night? I pretended not to. How will you be spending these last leisurely days of summer? School starts early this year but I'm hoping that our sunshine continues well into fall....fingers crossed!
