Contributor post from Megan at Room6
I love the geometric shapes and pastels from UK based surface and pattern designer Imogen Heath, but I'm equally drawn to her pretty florals. It's a refreshing mix, don't you think? Looks like Imogen also has a lovely blog filled with inspiration.
About Imogen: Combining her training as a weaver and print designer, with many years of experience selling textiles and pattern designs to global fashion and interior companies, Imogen decided the time was right to start up her own design business in June 2011, with the support of the Prince’s Trust.
In July 2011 Imogen launched her first small range of home decoration product at the New Designers One Year On exhibition, which was immediately snapped up by the Design Museum. Soon after this exhibition, Imogen was asked to design an exclusive range of cushions for Heal’s for their spring 2012 collection.
