Indoor Neon-Lit Signs

Have you been noticing all the personalized indoor neon-lit signs lately?  Usually a word or a phrase (in white or pinks, sometimes blue); everywhere I turn it seems I'm running into them (especially from spaces styled out of Australia).  I like the surprise of them, it can make a room kind of magical. It sure does make a room magical, or a space. My cousin han one on one of the walls of a hallway in her house in Paris. I love the contrast with the old wooden floor and the 19th century molding on the ceiling.

I really like shots 2 and 4 best. The contrast is perfect. I wonder if I can do anything in my kitchen?! :-)

I hadn't seen this trend yet, but it's interesting! I especially like seeing the neon in spaces that are really organic and earthy. The juxtaposition of natural and electric is cool.

Robin - i think you're right - it's the balance of them that makes it work.

I haven't noticed this trend, but I really like it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I especially love the DREAM sign in the bedroom. Yeah, these bits of neon make it seem like the room is extra special.

I love this! Would definitely need the right room with the right decor though.

I love the neon. When you take it out of a store window, it's so sophisticated.
