Lisa Solomon selenium bromide, 2007 colored pencil, acrylic, graphite, watercolor and embroidery on duralar 10" x 10" |
One of our contributors (my make believe collection) –and good friend, Lisa Solomon is having a solo show opening this week called Migratory Patterns at the Walter Maciel Gallery in. L.A. Her work is so layered, delicate and intricate - I can only imagine how beautiful it is in real life. We had a nice telephone chat this week and she never mentioned a peep about this, and I wanted to give her a shout out! The show will be up through May 26th if you are travelling to LA or can't make it to meet her at the opening Saturday.
