Friday the 13th folks and for me I always think of it as lucky! I have a friend that was born on a Friday the 13th and she has always considered it a lucky day - so after meeting her (when we were about 13) - I bought her story.  Because I much prefer lucky don't you?  Here's some ideas to make your Friday the 13th more lucky!

No. 1 - Think Positive
I love this poster "It's Awesome Time" by Fifty Five His.  Having something like that hanging around your space today would most definitely help in the luck situation!  Via Knack Studios.




No. 2 - Grab Your Lucky Charm

I like the idea of a lucky charm don't you?  I used to carry a rock in my pocket all the time and would rub it every once in a while to bring luck. 

No. 3 - Counteract Bad Luck

My grandmother was pretty supersticious, and some of that rubbed off on me. Even now that she has passed I find myself playing her little supersticious games sometimes automatically, like throwing salt over my left shoulder when I spill some for good luck, etc.  So how about not being supersticious? Do the opposite! Spill some salt on purpose; toss it over your left shoulder and bring on the luck!

No. 4 - Keep Stress Levels Low

Try not to let much get to you today.  Apparantly research shows stressing out can lead to an unlucky streak; anxiety can distract you from noticing good opportunities. Make a special tea if things get tense and take a deep breath - avoid stressful situations if possible.  In the big scheme of things is whatever stressing you really worth the trouble/worry?

No. 5 - Clear Negative Energy

No. 6 - Take Chances!
This one's pretty self-explanatory. And as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained!


No. 7 - Make Lemonade!

If life gives you lemon, make lemonade.  Everyone knows that saying and always a good one to remember.  So if you find yourself juggling a few lemons today, you know what to do.  Or as my Mom always used to say, take a nap, that always makes things better!  (Psssst!  And it really does)!

No. 8 - Be Thankful
Thank your lucky stars, your best friend, and all the things that surround you!

Let's face it, luck is usually a combination of positive thinking and making things happen.  It's all in the mind and how we perceive things.  So today my friends,  may the force be with you!  Have a fantastic Friday the 13th!
