Dispatches from Sweden

Contributor post by Camilla Engman

Café Domingo - Dirty Records, a place with both good coffee and homemade cakes/sandwiches and second hand albums, both cd's and LP's. A little bit like a timetravel. My friends and I call it "grumpy men café", because the owner never smiles, never say hi or anything like that. But somehow we like it anyway, we don't take it personally :)

Italian corner - Caffe Terzi, very stylish and very tasty. (Black pendant lighting - Tom Dixon; Furniture: Plinio il Giovane).

Bar Centro - best coffee in town if you ask me. A little piece of somewhere else, instant vacation.

It is a good moment to start coffee breaks at the balcony now after seeing these cozy places. For the first time in three months probably it is zero Celsius degrees. Still, winter coat on.

Wow, Kathryn's work is beautiful. I love the way her experience as an architectural and urban designer appear to have influenced her quilt designs. Even the little seed stitches resemble those patterns on architectural drawings. Love it! Thanks for the inspiration of the day.

Is that a sexy picture of Ché peeking out at Cafe Santo Domingo? If so, I'M THERE.
