Emily from the blog, From a China Village (which she writes from Dublin) came home to Maine over Thanksgiving and made this super-neat non traditional front door wreath for her parent's home. Using over a 100 mussel shells she created a snowflake shape (hot gluing them in) and then tucked in a few boughs of spruce to finish it off. She shares the how-to here! Thanks Emily!

So cool! Wish i lived near water so this would be appropriate on the door...
This is so chic and simple. Love it. Wish I had one. I have a new house this year but am also pregnant and feeling overwhelmed by all the boxes that need to be unpacked, thus the house isn't decorated at all. If I could just get something on the front door, that would make things feel a bit more festive!
love that it isn't a typical circle wreath. beautiful!
