A fun and super easy idea! Nena of the Finnish blog Likainen Parketti taped some cool geometrics on the outside of her bathroom door which really makes the area pop! You could probably paint it that way also. Check it out here. (Via Pinterest).

While beautiful initially... Not sure how well it would wear over time (or how long I'd love it). I would be concerned about what it would do to the finish on the door when removed. I know, I'm being a practical bore!
