IDSwest opens in just three days and
the excitement
is building over the design pros, presenters and exhibitors who
will celebrate
the best in interior design beginning Thursday September 29th
and
running until Sunday, October 2nd. From IKEA to Molo, pillows to
paint and couches to kitchens, IDSwest will host some of the
brightest stars of
the design world to Vancouver.

Think Small
The
L41 220 sqft home will delight even
the small space cynic with its smart design and incredible
functionality. Designed to be a mass-produced, state-of-the-art
house, the L41 is poised to become part of the important group
of affordable designs
such as the $2,500 Tata car.
Think Big
Come visit one of the
largest booths on the IDSwest
floor. Home décor hotspot IKEA will present a large industrial
bistro kitchen
space complete with harvest table and induction stovetop demos.

Straight from the UK and
presented by Inform
Interiors, the Tom Dixon pop-up bar is set to be the
hottest spot to
meet up on the IDSwest floor. With a dockside atmosphere decked
out in Jack Lights, Slab tables and Fluoro
chairs, the signature cocktails that will be served alongside
will match
Dixon’s incredible style.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit icon Cheryl Tiegs will be at IDSwest signing autographs and unveiling new Cambria colours on Thursday, September 29th. Don’t miss the Cambria fashion show at 6:45PM where models will show off the latest colour collection from this impressive countertop company.

Design Show West (IDSwest) is Western Canada’s annual premiere

design show featuring 200 vetted exhibitors showcasing quality
products and
services to an audience of industry professionals, architects,
designers, and

While I love this tiny abode... first thought is - you can't have any hobbies!! Great for a getaway where all you want is a couple of books and your thoughts :). Hilarious to think of Cheryl T promoting counter tops.... an element of kitsch (pun intended!) never hurts!
The compact home is great!
I'm planning to attend this weekend! Looking forward esp. to seeing the prefab home.
