P.S. This paper is super easy to make (if you're familiar with photoshop and illustrator) and could be customized using old photo's of your mother or grandmother (and children). This was inspired by the holiday issue of Sweet Paul's magazine (Dec 2010).

beautiful - how kind of you!

I really love this idea. How sweet and personal. My mother {the pack rat} never throws away wrapping paper... might as well give her something that's actually worth holding on to forever!
xo
lovely idea! i never would have thought of using photos from the commons for this. great stuff.
great stuff!
Gorgeous wrapping papers! I love each of these - guess I've got to get Mom two gifts this year so I can use them both! Thanks for making these free and easy for everyone to use!
oh this is awesome!
Genius! So unique.
great idea. What type of paper do you use or can you give more details?
The size of the pdf is 8.5 " x 11" - so it's just printed on regular printing paper (20lb). And I needed to print out two copies for the larger box and one copy for the smaller.
Lovely! I love the colours too!
so great! thanks - i will definitely use these!
What a lovely idea; looks so sweet.
What a nice idea! May I borrow this idea and wrap something for my mum for Mothers D
ay? I am thinking of printing old black and white photos of her and her kids on the paper. If you do not mind I like to share this in my blog too. Thanks for sharing.
DesperateHousewife - oh but of course!
these are simply adorable, thank you!
What a great idea! I especially love the vibrance of the blossoms. I may have to steal this idea from you!
PS - Photos should NOT have an apostrophe! It is a plural word. Like blossoms (not blossom's) or The Commons (not The Common's) /Grammar Nazi
thanks anon - i'm apostrophe crazy i guess! : )
These look great. I do a similar thing for christmas wrapping. I find color schemed images in magazines and wrap my presons in that. They always look really great and you don't have the environmental impact of buying new paper. YOu just use a lot of tape :)
