DIY: Vintage Book Expanding File
Cathe Holden of Just Something I Made created this expandable book file using a vintage book cover with a thrift store found expandable file. Click here for the how-to and if you're dropping by the Bay Area Maker Faire this weekend, she'll be giving a workshop there on how to bring new life to vintage book covers by turning them into covers for planners, sketchbooks, journals, and more. I really like this idea. They look great. Thanks!
i had several journals from old book covers, but this is a fabulous idea! i went on a binge of vintage book buying, from fairy tales to cookbooks. many are torn or written in and they'd make wonderful files!
