Dispatches from Tokyo

Contributor post by Hello Sandwich

Japanese washi paper tape brand mt mt recently invited Hello Sandwich to host a little craft workshop at their recent mt school for wrapping

We had such a lovely weekend making craft inspired by the new mt products. At the Hello Sandwich workshop we made gift tag / ornament decoration sets using Hello Sandwich template and unlimited supplies from the new 2011 range by mt

And there was even edible mt donughts with packaging inspired by the tapes! And mt staff wore mt shirts featuring a panel of fabric in mt tape patterns.

Watch the video of the workshop here or pop on over to Hello Sandwich for more pics from the event here.

The mt website is packed with images that will no doubt inspire you to get crafty with your own washi tape! Enjoy!

I already have about a dozen rolls of washi tape and now, thanks to you, I want many more! I would love to attend a gift wrapping workshop in Japan. They do it up right all the time. Great post!

I love the way mt decorates their exhibition and workshop spaces. I'd love to see one in person one day!

Oh, and did anyone else check out the mt-inspired shirts? I'd like one of those please!
