Cool Decorating Trick No. 5: Crate Pallet Plant Stand/Platform

A fun thing little idea I spotted today in my reader.  This crate shipping pallet used as a plant stand/platform from the Swedish blog, Lolita.  The greyish-black that it's painted contrasts well against the clay terracotta planters holding all those lovely cacti don't you think?  Cool Decorating Trick No. 5. Ah, I already saw this picture in the VTWonen this month. They did this shoot about how to integrate plants in modern homes. I loved the pallet idea, but there's no way I could pull it off in my small living room.

You can find there other ideas here, here and here. I liked the one with the orchids best, it's totally different from how they're usually presented.
