I didn't even know there was such a thing as a porcelain pen! Now I need one.
You don't have a porcelain pen? Wow they are the greatest invention!!! I've been doing mugs for pretty much any thing that I can for the past 10 years or so... its my go to craft!
What a great idea!
Uh I need one too where does one get one of these????
thanks

Candace Dee - Depending on where you live - it looks like you can get them at Michaels - so I'm guessing craft or art supply stores?
I was going to make this for Xmas but couldn't find the porcelaine pen.......
I was heart broken!!!
Please keep in mind that surfaces decorated with porcelaine pens are NOT foodsafe, so please keep your illustrations on the parts of the mug your mouth/beverage doesn't touch!
I've seen a lot of porcelaine pen illustrated work for sale on Etsy that was advertised as foodsafe, or was an item normally used for food that did NOT say "do not eat off this!" As a ceramicist/potter who's done a lot of research into the food safety of my own products, it worries me!

I know you can find the Pebeo Porcelaine (Glass) pens on www.MarkerSupply.com. I made some wine glasses a while back and they turned out super cute.
