Aw, that is such a cute idea! :)
You can put your initial or write a cute message too!
i love this idea!
this is one of those ideas where you're left thinking, "why didn't I come up with that??" I love it! such a good one!
great idea! i love seeing simple do-able projects like this.
This is an amazing concept! I can't wait to put up some new "shelves" in my house!!!
Thanks Jan! we had fun making these. Although not much making really, just glueing. The best bit is showing all your nice finds :-)
So cute and so petit! Makes me think of my grandmother which makes me happy!

Perfect timing for this post! I was just suggesting to my sister that she use picture rails, but this is waaay better and looks fantastic.
Thanks Jan and Present and Correct.
Clever is the word. Great idea!
what a fantastic idea!
Love this idea! etweedow
i'm totally doing this. i have leftover pieces from the scrabble set i raided for other craft projects and now i know just what to do with them.
great interactive game when people drop by (hang the old crown royal bag your parents kept the letters in beside the shelf- or make an uber cute bag yourself!) guests pick out seven letters and see if they can build upon your displayed word!(putting the letters they don't use back in the bag). I'm thinking fun for a front hall - or a bathroom!
What a brilliant idea!!! great DIY even if you are not a DIY-er! thank you!

But what if you wanted to take the scrabble shelves off your wall? It would be a mess. I think I would rather nail them.
