Weekend Project: DIY Wooden "Love" Headboard

How super-cute is this DIY wooden headboard, and such a great little project to surprise someone for Valentine's? Dana of House Tweaking came up with this idea using salvaged old fenceboards from her husband's grandmother's farm. Click here for the DIY and how to hang it! (Via Bodie and Fou).

This is a fabulous idea, I am infatuated with the boards, and I think I would paint a picture instead of a word. <3

I love the sentimental source of the wood! It makes me want to go out to my Grandparent's farm right away!

i actually DID make this headboard THIS weekend! too funny! we found old wood with a nice gray color, so we aren't sure we want to paint anything on the wood just yet.
it's a GREAT project!!

I LOVE THIS!! Where do you find the wood for something like this? I have been searching for weeks for rustic wood like this and I can't seem to find it anywhere!
