I love this collection of drawers don't you? (You can read more about them here). They're inspiring me to collect some drawers of my own. I'm not sure how easy that is going to be, without buying heaps of dressers, but I'm thinking the process could be interesting. Are you collecting something?

I can imagine collecting drawers could be quite the adventure!
I would like to collect teapots.
I've only got this cute little guy so far, but I'm dreaming of more! http://bit.ly/e3pRIM
I'm collecting craft notions...all of a sudden it seems like everything multiplied and now I have no space for it all!
There is a surplus store in Berkeley Ca. called Urban Ore. They have a ridiculous amount of drawers for sale... sans dresser. I have always wanted to buy some But don't have the space to collect whilst I dream up a plan for them.
that would be such a cool thing to collect, not collecting anything yet:)
I've always collected miniature things. I have some really really awesome ones. I think I'm going to do a post on them soon. I'll be sure to let you know if I do!

I spotted the store in berlin last year, it's taken me a year to find odd drawers for my project, not as nice as theirs. now to build it ;)
Jax - yes I'm imagining it would be hard to find.

Your collection is very unique. I collect books and small toy cars.
I collect Super 8 cameras and Vera scarves. I also just started an ink well collection. I think I'm collecting too many collections! :)
Rikkianne - that's fun you're collecting super 8! i have some vintage super8 film - about 12 cannisters. some of it from my parent's some from the thrift store of parades and family vacations. this conversation is making me want to look at them again.
Oh! You must revisit those. Some of our cameras still have film in them. We are very curious to know what they would play.
Here is a link to check out my cameras... We've added quite a few more since the interview!

Rikkianne, oh wow. yeah there's a place here in eastern canada that used to develop super8 film. we made one - (a music video) using a camera a few years back. do you have a projector? ours burned a bit of some of our vintage film (it uses very hot light bulbs) - that's why i'm scared to view them again. we really should go get them digitally re-mastered.
I have four letterpress type drawers so far, and no idea what I'm going to do with em. But I love them! I desperately want some library card file drawers - bliss.
I actually picked a projector up from a thrift a couple years back but we were also scared to give it a try. There was a place in Tucson that developed rare film but I've yet to research it in Virginia. Yeah, digital wold be the way to go but there is something so romantic about watching on a projector :) The sound is an extra treat :)
