Recently, I've been hit with the urge to turn the house upside down and start all over again. This is not exactly practical so I've been looking at ways to change things up without uprooting the entire family. What better place to start than the walls? Since we're renters (and, in our situation, not really allowed to paint), I've taken to moving all collections and framed pieces around-- I'm bringing in new pieces, storing a few that need a break, and mixing it all up. Since the house is sort of in jigsaw puzzle mode, I went looking for inspiration. Here's what I found:

For me? Happy walls= happy home. Wish me luck.

Love all of these! We're renters too, and currently working on happy-fying our yellow-beige walls. So far, there's an art wall in the living room that makes me smile everyday, so it's definitely working!
I'm so glad it's not just me that does this! I frequently walk in to a room and go 'Nope! It's all gonna have to go. Rip it out! Start again!' before realising how completely impracticable that is! So maybe it's just a happy wall I need :)
Everything in this post is amazing.
Did you know that that the Liza Giles photo is actually a house shoot I styled and produced with photographer James Merrell a couple of years ago when I was associate editor at British ELLE Decoration. So weird I actually posted about it a couple of days ago on my blog because I was needing some Spring inspiration
