Today is "White Day" here at Winter Colours Week and anyone can jump in and join us anytime, any of the days! There's really no rules other than uploading the colour of the day - see schedule - (after 6pm Pacific starting the day before to the flickr pool ). Come join - it's fun!

I love the gray scale colors in a white winter scene - adding visual interest to the soft texture of a snowfall. So different from summertime whites.

I never take part in projects with other people, so I hope that this is the start of a new habit for me. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I am already doing a 365 project where I photograph a vintage item in my home each day this year. I am combining it with Winter Colours Week. Such a joy.
