Weekend Project: Pom Pom Flowers

Keep your vases stocked with flowers (even in winter) with these super–cute pom-pom buds. Crafter Lauren De Bellis came up with this idea which Country Living Magazine picked up for their February issue. They suggest picking up some pom-pom makers through clover-usa.com, or we suggest to do it the old-fashioned way (which is pretty easy too). After your pom-poms are made add a bit of hot-glue to the end of a twig and insert into the centre of each pom-pom. Hold the two together until the glue dries (about 10 seconds) and then arrange. Voila! (Photo by Kate Mathis).

SO lovely, and would be perfect to go with the painted bottled project as you can't put water in the vases coated in acrylic.

I will definitely do this with my daughters on days off from school and/or playdates...or "hang out" days as my youngest daughter now prefers to call them. Cheers!

lulu041283 - the image is from Country Living Magazine - and was taken by Kate Mathis - so if you link to them as well to here - I think all should be cool.
