Hi There! It's Daniel and Valeria from
Hindsvik Shop here to show you some of our favorite ways of using vintage crates in your home!
Book storage is a classic example. You can either use crates on the floor or wall mount them for some visual appeal. And they look even better in multiples!

Plants and greenery also look great alongside old woods.
Sometimes you can find really large vintage crates that can double as a coffee or side table. We really love the slatted wood and character on this one!

Some can be good for displaying your collections and small home decor items.
Here we have our collection of vintage lobster buoys.

On the rare occasion you can find crates and use them for their original purpose like this tool rental box which is the perfect size for drill bits and other tools.

Another favorite idea of ours is using vintage crates for storing kitchen items. Anything from a blender or some fruit, I'm sure you'll find a vintage crate to suit your needs!
Hope you've enjoyed our vintage crate round-up and we'll see you next week with more!

Beautiful!
wow somebody really thought hard on that post!! eeeesssshhhhh!
I love vintage crates. I finally got one for Christmas and i hope to get more, i've got it placed into my Ikea cube shelf, sort of like a drawer, used as storage.
You can find them at this wonderful store in Vancouver called Step Back http://stepback.ca/
They have so many wonderful things in that store, i wish i could live in it.
So pretty. We have a bunch of succulents in old winery boxes. Love me some organic wood!
Ohhhh...I'm drooling over these beautiful crates! My husband always thinks I'm crazy for loving old wooden boxes/crates. My best find ever was a crate for Genesee 12 Horse Ale that I found on the curb in someone's trash!
My husband and I are gathering up a collection of vintage crates right now, and when we get enough, we're going to mount them on our bedroom wall and used them to store/display our clothes.
my mom nailed old wood coke crates to the wall above the stove and put her spices in it.
i am now so tempted to go spend at least part of this weekend hunting for old boxes and crates...shame about all the other things i have to do first!
