As the year comes to a close we reflect on the year past,and what a great year it has been! We’ve had a lot of fun and have been inspired by so many; we’re so glad you’ve joined us throughout it all. You make it all worthwhile, and we really appreciate you stopping by and making us part of your day. This community is incredible, and we’re honoured to be a part of it. We’ve made great friends and have built strong relationships with many of you.

And now that the year is coming to an end, it’s kind of a tradition with us to stop and take stock and hit the “re-set” button to recharge our creative batteries and reflect on the year ending and the looking forward to the coming one. We'll still be posting, just a little lighter. We’ve got some great new things planned for the new year including a more international voice with a new column we're calling "Dispatches from..." where we will have some amazing new contributors joining us from Sweden, the UK, France and Australia. We hope to add a few more as the year progresses. We're really excited about this and can hardly wait to introduce them! We also have some amazing contributors (and I don't say that lightly) joining us from San Francisco this January, which we're super-excited about it!

So, here's to a great year gone by, and here's to looking forward to an even better one coming up! From the bottom of our hearts we wish you a safe and happy holiday!
