In love with Mati McDonough's new Treasure Seekers series. Absolutely in love. In Mati's own words, these paintings are meant to "evoke a sense of wonder, jewels, sun and sea and fill you up to help preserve your treasures." Let me tell you, I'd like to cover an entire wall with these treasures. I'm in love with with the bright shades of turquoise, the bits of pink, red and orange, the sweet vintage floral scraps, the boats with happy flags.

As luck would have it, new Treasure Seeker original paintings just went up in Mati's Suspect Shoppe today!
And if you want to do a little treasure seeking and painting of your own, Mati will be teaching Treasure Seeking this spring at the JOY retreat, which takes place in Manzanita-- a sleepy oceanside town located along the stunning Oregon coast. In addition, the fantastic Tracy Benjamin will be teaching Finding Joy In the Kitchen and I'll be teaching Instant Joy-- a workshop centered around instant photography. There are just a few spots left so if you're interested, head on over and check it out!
