The Art of the Pied-a-Terre
a+b kasha is a Parisian company specializing in the sourcing, purchase, design and renovation of Left Bank apartments. The company, located in Saint Germain des Près, has earned a reputation for its elegant, turn-key apartments.
We especially love the apartment (3 images below) which is located on rue de Varenne in the 7th arrondissement. During the demolition the designers broke in the roof and found beautiful old wooden beams which they tell us on one of their blogs, opened up the space, and made all the difference.
Their site which is filled with heaps of inspiration also features many before and after shots of their properties.

Jan, do you want to go "halfsies" with me, on one of these? Wow. They look spectacular.
So Beautiful. I especially love that bathroom.
SO. Beautiful. I would do just about anything to live in that apartment. Those wood floors are killer.

It's all absolutely dreamy...especially that tub. Sigh.
So amazing! Great photos! I'd love to live in one.
Thank you for showing this. When I am feeling a little blue or bored I like to look up Paris real estate. Just in case I win the lottery of course! The 7th arrondisement is lovely - we spent our honeymoon there in 2003.
Linda - I bet you see alot of those!
Janis - sure, let's do it! ; )
Kate - i know, nothing like a bit of Paris real estate to shake off the blues.

I'd live there in a heartbeat if I won the lottery! Or, maybe if I become a wealthy, famous, artist! :D
heart. heart. heart!!!
this series of photos makes my heart ache...really, really ache - beautiful.
Isn't it a shame that we no longer build such beautiful buildings anymore? So heartbreaking.
That bathtub in the last photo is a work of art.
