DIY: Turn Old Paperbacks Into Custom Hardbacks
This week I came across a post over at Ohdeedoh on how to make custom hardcover books out of old paperbacks using cotton fabric and some labels I made as a free downloadable last year. One of their contributers, Katie Steuernagle cleverly printed my labels directly onto fabric-covered cardstock, and then proceeded to cover the book. Click here to get all of the directions and here to access my labels. Thanks Katie, great idea!

when i was little and our paperbacks wore out my mother, who is an amazing artist, would draw new covers for them. it's wonderful to be able to make something new again and beautiful in a whole new way.

Hi Jan! Thank YOU so much for the adorable labels! I was so happy when I downloaded them to see how high res they are. Absolutely gorgeous! They printed beautifully onto the fabric.
