To savour the last nights of summer, we're loving this outdoor movie party idea that Ashley Ann and family of Ashley Ann Photography hosted recently at their Oklahoma property. Combining it with a charity, they created a Book Party (where guests donated children's books for the The Joyful Life Library (books are donated to Cardon Children's Medical Center in Mesa, AZ in honour of Samuel (son of Heather of Blessed Little Nest). This is crazy - we do this every year at my farm in Upstate New York, except we put the screen on our barn. We just held this year's party last night, served homemade ice cream sandwiches, and showed "The Sandlot." I'll be posting pictures on my blog soon!
