I just LOVE your photo of the ocean pottery. I volunteered for a few months in South Agrica in the small village of Hamburg, right alongside the Indian Ocean. Those lucky enough to find washed up Dutch china from shipwrecks hundreds of years ago found themselves with beautiful blue patterned pieces. What a treasure, literally!
That is amazing! Imagine where do those pieces come from... what were they, who used them! Some are more smoothed than others... makes me wonder how old they are. I love ocean finds!! In Florida I have never found anything but shells and a VERY occasional piece of glass.
I love beach pottery too! I have a secret beach in BC where I find it then make mosaics with it, I love its worn crazed look.
