Missing Goat Farm (a cute little blueberry farm here in the lower mainland) and run by Poppytalk contributer, Heather Cameron (and family) will be opening this Friday and Saturday, July 9th and 10th from 10am to 2pm. They don't have blueberries yet but they do have their new jams, chutney, garlic and an amazing coffee from Nova Scotia named Laughing Whale (it’s organic, free trade and has the lowest carbon foot print in Canada for a coffee roaster. Plus, it’s super tasty!) Heather also has a limited supply of rhubarb (remember that pie she posted about here) , rosemary and honey jam available.
They will be open every Friday and Saturday all summer till early September. Starting next weekend: Friday Granola, Saturday Pies, and more garlic varieties. And the blueberries are actually turning purple, so blue is just around the corner. They hope to start filling orders next week if this weather holds.
