A Japanese-inspired home situated between Autun and Beaune in Burgundy, France and designed by architects Jean-Baptiste Barache and Sihem Lamine, Paris. who'd a thought that chipboard would work, but it does. What wonderful creativity. It would be interesting to know how much it cost to create that space.

isn't that particle board held together with nasty glues that out-gas and make people feel ill? or am i thinking of something else?
love the minimalism but not the particle board.

jennifer - they make particle board without the formaldehyde emissions now - and this house is "green" (mentioned in the article).

thanks for the answer! that's great to know, sometimes "environmentally friendly" refers to the footprint or process of production, sometimes to the materials used and then sometimes, both. It can be hard to assume which.
