Sycamore Street Press: Kiki Smith at Brooklyn Museum
Contributer post by Eva Jorgensen of Sycamore Street Press
Birth & death, beauty & decay, knowledge & naiveté...all are present in the wonderful work of Kiki Smith. She's one of my very favorite artists and sources of inspiration. While in New York, I was able to go see her exhibit, Sojourn, at the Brooklyn Museum, which focuses on the lifecycle of women artists.
Sojourn is on display through September 12. Also, if you'd like to see more online info about Kiki Smith, Art 21 did a wonderful profile on her a few years back. Click here to see more images, interviews, and video.

I've been a fan of Kiki Smith ever since I saw Lillith at the MoMA on a trip to New York a few years ago.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
