The Brooklyn Flea
Contributer post by Eva Jorgensen of Sycamore Street Press
Get ready for the visual smorgasbord that is the Brooklyn Flea! You can find everything from antique cameras to handmade clogs to artisanal popsicles. Kirk and I set up a booth there for the past couple of Saturdays, and we loved the friendly, laid back atmosphere along with the great mix of goods for sale.
Vibrant screenprinted cards by Beau Ideal (images above and below).
Terrariums in all sorts of creative containers by Twig.
Succulents thoughtfully arranged in rustic modern rock planters by Alive Structures ...who were also selling the marionettes below.
Homemade stroopwaffels by The Good Batch. This is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to delicious food available at the flea. In fact, many people come just for the food! (Think lobster rolls, wood fired oven pizza, pupusas, asian style hot dogs, and more...)
Hip t-shirts and jewelry by Loyalty and Blood (images above and below).
Chunky chain and rope necklaces from A.S.I.S.
Colorful mid-century dishware and more from the Great Middle West. (To inquire, email thegreatmiddlewest{at}gmail.com)
Initial stamped gold pendants by Elma Blint.
Stylish wooden clogs by Nina Z.
And wooden sunglasses by Fort.
Colorful vintage linens, toys, and more from Farfalla (images above and below).
The Brooklyn Flea is open every Saturday and Sunday year round. Click here for more info.

I loved one of the tea towels, in the photo of Farfalla's table above, so much that I contacted her on Etsy. Neala quickly posted it for me and it's now in my kitchen. Yay!
