Book Review: Handy Dad by Todd Davis

Without saying, even if your Dad/husband isn't the DIY type, this little book is going to take them back to when they were a kid and probably inspire them to pull out the tools to at least try one of these projects in this book, Handy Dad by Todd Davis (25 Awesome Projects for Dads and Kids). From easy projects such as a simple yet very cool paper airplane to afternoon projects like "water-balloon launchers" and weekend projects like a rad half-pipe or my favourite, the skate longboard and zip line. This book is a must to take to the cottage for the summer and a great idea as a gift for Father's Day.

Available through Raincoast Book, Amazon.ca and Chronicle Books.

what a great find for fathers day. Is it strange that at the age of 37 I felt suddenly compelled to build a go-cart? go-carts where the best. :)

My husband keeps remembering the go carts of his childhood, this would be an awesome incentive to revisit all that and not in words alone

My husband runs for cover at the mention of a diy project. I am the handyman in the house. This, however, would completely appeal to his giant kid side. Swinging and shooshing with the kids...what fun. THanks for the early FD idea.
