Liam is a happy bright, charming five year old. He also happens to have a rare neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. He is the son of one of our handmade community members, Lynn Russell of Satsuma Press. They are currently raising money to provide Liam with a fully accessible bathroom in their house this summer. Oh my gosh, Liam is so precious :) He reminds me so much of my 6-year old son. I've visited his blog and made a donation, I will be blogging about him too to help spread the word.
I worked at the SMA Golf Tournament Fundraiser two summers ago, and the kids I met were just great...
