Home Sweet Home Tour No. 4: Amy Beth Cupp Dragoo of ABCD Design

Home Sweet Home Tour

Our 4th Home Sweet Home Tour belongs to New York artist, stylist and designer Amy Beth Cupp Dragoo of ABCD Design and her husband, Mr. D. Amy is a collector of vintage advertising posters, china cups, yarn and images. Her interior design aesthetic is all about transitionalism. She tells us she doesn't want to walk in any room and be able to pinpoint when it was decorated. She believes that her home should be an amalgamation of the items that she loves. She layers pieces from different eras that fit with their taste and fuses them to form a relaxing environment that reflects their personality as a couple. Amy is particularly drawn to pieces that are difficult to place in history. They are the perfect bridge between rustic and modern, traditional and today. Thanks Amy for sharing!

Jan,

I truly appreciate you featuring our home*sweet*home on Poppytalk. What a complete and total honor.

I adore what you do over here, so to see ABCD featured... well, it's like seeing my name in lights!!

Thanks to everyone who commented so far! One delightful thing about the vintage posters, if you know where to find them - you can really find some wonderful deals = lot's of "bang for your buck."

@Kate, unfortunately we recently moved from this loft, but I will happily set up a spare room for you in the next place, heck... I might even make blueberry pancakes during your stay ~LOL! :)

Thanks again Jan, lovely job!

I like that Amy thinks I'm joking about being their lodger, but now she's swung breakfast pancakes under my nose, there wont be any stopping me.
