Real Living March Sneak Peek
I love this world! I love being able to read blogs from magazines from all over and am so enticed when they post images of their next issue online. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Real Living here in Vancouver? I always see the French and English home decor magazines in local bookstores, but I never see this one. I would love if they would sell an online version like Canadian House and Home does. It's cheaper and greener too. Anyway, I'm really digging their preview and if you know where I can pick up a copy here in the lower mainland, please feel free to leave a comment, thanks!

I don't know where you can get a copy in Vancouver - it might be tricky as it's an Australia magazine. I am sure if you contact them they would send you a copy. Their dep ed, Natalie Walton blogs here: http://dailyimprint.blogspot.com
I know it's Australian, and alot of international magazines are sold here in our bookstores, I just haven't come across this one.
If you don't have any luck finding one locally, you can subscribe to Real Living at magshop.com.au
or try Ebay, the March issue is on Ebay now in case you want to try before you buy a subscription.
I have bought the magazine since it began, highly recommend it!
Such a great magazine. I can't find it in New Zealand either but oddly enough bought it on a recent holiday in Fiji! Go figure!
Dear Jan, I am more than happy to send you a copy if you like - especially since I have won two giveaways from Poppytalk in the last year! I am a Real Living tragic - I have every issue since it started in 2005 (coincidentally when I moved out of my parents' home).
Just leave a message on my blog and I'll email you for your address.

Oh, wow! This looks amazing- I must find it! Why does Australia have so many wonderful shelter magazines? ...
This looks like a really great mag. I am still so heartbroken over Domino folding! I need a rebound mag!
Really Elissa? Wow and awesome! I will be visiting shortly! Thank you!
that key lime pie photo shoot is murdering me with its pac-man cuteness slice removal.
LOVE this style of food photography.
SCORE on the magazine in the mail jan!! :)
I love the Kit Home article you've found. Do you know who sells them, is there a website. Love reading the blog, so much fab info and inspiration in it. Fiona x
I'm in Toronto and I've had to subscribe because I can't find it here. It's definitely my favourite shelter mag - I wish Canada produced something similar. Canadian House and Home and Style and the others are lovely, but they are just too neat and tidy.
Australia does produce some great magazines - terrific versions of Vogue, Delicious, et al. They have a smaller population than Canada, and their publishing industry otherwise lags behind ours. We have some good, solid publications, but I don't know why Canada can't manage the same kind of innovative, fresh, inspiring shelter and food publications. I live in hope, though. Maybe someday.
Fiona - yes the link is http://www.bachkit.com.au/
Perhaps a bunch of us Vancouverites could all request it be brought in by some shop or other - I wish Magpie was still around. I'd love to get my mitts on this magazine as well.
I think Australian magazines do okay and weather recessions because they rely on the cover price as well as advertising. In the US you can subscribe to magazines for next to nothing but here you are saving only 10 or 20% off the cover price when you subscribe. Also, the cover price tends to be more expensive than with American magazines. Not sure how it is in Canada.
