Home Sweet Home Tour No. 2: Creative Thursday
This week we're honoured to show the home of LA-based artist, Marisa Haedike of Creative Thursday and her husband Sean. And what's special about this tour is their home is actually available to sublet for the month of April into early May. So if you ever dreamed of spending spring in Los Angeles and maybe need some creative inspiration, this could just be the place (contact details at bottom of post). Let's take a tour.
Living Room
(Above) The painting over the fireplace is by both Sean and Marisa, the vase by Outiart, a vintage chair, an original Creative Thursday design with the fabric by Tricia Guild. The wood houses on the mantle are by Amber Dusick.
Dining Room
Artwork on dining room wall by Marisa and Amy Ruppel, another vintage chair re-designed by Creative Thursday, dining table vintage, sideboard IKEA.
Artists featured in photo beside dining room, from left to right, Patricia Anders, Christine Mason Miller, Creative Thursday, Heather Renz, Amber Dusick, Outi Harma, Le Train Fontame, Kimberly Applegate, pillow by Nate Williams.
Kitchen
Encaustic painting by Cathy Nichols, nightlight by Creative Thursday, ceramic sunflowers sculpted by Maris in a college ceramics class, her all time favorite stove-top coffee maker by Bialetti, tangerine mixer by Kitchen Aid, mugs by Orla Kiely for Target last year, rug is recycled by Mad Mats {she adores this rug ~ it can handle anything}. Measuring spoons and decorative hooks from Anthropologie; tea cups also Anthropologie and espresso cups by Outiart.
Bedroom
Art by Marisa, bedding by Banana Republic and IKEA. Green hanging lamp by Grange, another painting by Cathy Nichols, chair is vintage, mirror is vintage
Thanks Marisa and Sean for sharing your cosy home with us. If you're interested in sub-letting their home this April/early May, you can email Marisa at marisa[at]creativethursday[dot]com for more details.
