For those of you seeking a little local culture, Vancouver artists are opening their studios this week for a mini Eastside Cultural Crawl. Experience The Heart of ART where two large artist studios have joined together and open their doors to the public for the event. Artists in 1000 Parker Street and the Mergatroid Building will be showcasing their talent and creations. You will see paintings, ceramics, furniture, designer clothing, jewellery, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and much more. Sample a taste of the Eastside Culture Crawl in the heart of the vibrant Strathcona area. Entry is free, and a percentage of sales will go towards a registered charity. Walk, bike, drive, or take a bus, #22, or skytrain (VCC, then north to Venables)to the two buildings are near Clark and Venables.
