tortoise loves donkey
Tortoise Loves Donkey was begun as an act of pure crazy while trying to find the perfect wedding favors. Preferably ones that weren't made by small overworked children. Or ones the guests wouldn't later have to dust and generally regret. Possibly even recycled, recyclable, sustainable, renewable and generally awesome! *steps off soap box*. Anyway, Tortoise Loves Donkey stuff is all made with love by a Colorado girl relocated to the Bay Area, California.
Based out of the 500 square feet also called home, the space includes a guy, also called "the shipping department", a tortoise (Sofie!), a big ol' rabbit (Rajeet, who is a Flemish giant if anyone asks) and a big lady dog, Brinja. At 95 lbs, she outweighs the tortoise and bunny, but only by a little bit!
They're a wee bit head over heels for art on skateboards, skin, paper, walls, and everywhere else. A firm belief in copious amounts of ice cream is held.
Materials are upcycled, recycled, and organic whenever possible, which is most everything most of the time. And they are in our market this month! Woot!
