Loft Tour: Amsterdam Sugar Warehouse
Loftlife magazine is sharing a unique loft online this month located in an old sugar warehouse owned by the owners and directors, George Gottl and Oliver Michell of Uxus Design out of Amsterdam. Built in 1763 it's located on the Bloemgracht canal in the Jordaan district and boasts a panoramic view overlooking the city. We love the dramatic curtain walls they created with the open-plan layout, which can be opened and closed according to the needs of use. As mentioned in the article, "...Made of luxurious Italian linen, the curtain walls are opaque when lit from the front yet transparent from behind. At night, the space becomes a series of glowing tents, creating the effect of a surreal interior landscape.” Click here to see more beautiful photo's. Photography by Dim Balem.

Wow. What an absolutely beautiful place.
I love this loft! I blogged about it for Halloween with all the unique accessories.
incredible.!!!
Oh wow, this an incredible loft! Though I’m not surprised it’s in the Jordaan, one the most beautiful (and pricy) parts of Amsterdam.
