The Working Proof
The Working Proof is a new project launched Anna Corpron and Sean Auyeung, (also known as Sub-Studio) where they seek to promote art and social responsibility. Each print (launched each Tuesday and always affordable - under $100) is paired with a charity of the artist's choice, to which they are donating 15% of the sale of each print - creating what they believe to be a product with not just aesthetic, but social value.
Their first featured artist is Samantha Hahn with her print "Burden". Burden is a 11" x 14" matte giclee print on heavy weight photo paper, hand signed and editioned by the artist. Samantha has chosen to pair her print with the Kids In Need Foundation, whose mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need.
Their upcoming artists include Yasmine Surovec, Julianna Swaney, Heather Smith Jones, Ben Javens, Catherine Ryan, Dan Funderburgh, and many more. They are also releasing weekly interviews with the featured artist on their blog here.
