Give the eco-gift of furoshiki this holiday season
Did you know, according to the Clean Air Council, an additional five million tons of waste is generated during the holidays in the United States, four million tons of which is wrapping paper and shopping bags? As a mother of two young daughters, Mandy of Persimmon & Pine is very concerned with this news and is hoping you will consider using the centuries-old Japanese tradition of furoshiki to wrap your gifts this year. Click here to read the history of the furoshiki, the artistry and how to wrap this beautiful sustainable gift wrap and carry-all.

I wrapped a lot of my gifts this way too -- and not only is it ecofriendly, they're so gorgeous to give! My fam adored the gift wrapped in the gift as well.
