Weekend Getaway: Greece

juxtapositiondeterrasses
A little dreaming today with an online getaway to Greece on the island of Serifos, where an architect and a designer have built a large house overlooking the Aegean Sea. The terraces around the house are a set of platforms at different levels, connected by stone steps and all covered with slabs of slate. I love the traditional Greek striped linen cotton mattress on wooden crates alone in a room and canopied by a mosquito net. A house which looks like it was made to spend the best of vacations with friends. From Marie Claire Maison. Photos by Julien Oppenheim.
