I made this for you... vol.2

by Something's Hiding In Here

stephen loves plaid shirts, and i love to give him a hard time about it. as a surprise, i made custom tags for his entire collection. to make them, i printed text (in reverse) on ink jet, iron-on paper and heat set them onto muslin fabric.

for more custom tag inspiration... check out fieldguided's neckties and giant dwarf's grosgrain ribbon.

This is GENIUS!!! Did you tell him? Or did he find them?
I can just imagine he'd say "Gee, I think I'll put on shirt #7. What's this!? Why, Plaid IS Rad!"

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THESE!!!!! I, like Stephen, have a MAJOR plaid fetish. It's endured since I was in jr. high (umm, about 20 years now). I used to have a sweatshirt that said "plaid" in embroidered, plaid letters. You know, like the ones that sorority girls wear with their Greek letters on them. Except mine said "plaid." I wore it everywhere.

And now I sufficiently miss it. :(

hehe

I want your labels!

ha! this is great! my boyfriend also wears plaid shirts. a lot. he might NEED some of these labels to go along with the secret "k <3 J" i embroidered in his pants and the "friendly reminders" i left him all over the house, courtesy of the DYMO label maker.
