Affordable Art {morning edition}: Leah Giberson
This morning's pick is from Boston artist, Leah Giberson. This piece called Outskirts is a limited edition giclee print 5/100. Typically Leah uses her own photographs to begin paintings, but this one began with a photograph she found on flickr taken by photographer, Curtis Locke. He graciously gave her permission to use his work in this piece. You can see his original photograph here. $30.

i own this print, and it is so incredibly lovely! her work is great.
I love the stark simplicity and mid-century themes in Leah's work.
Her work will be on display at nahcotta art gallery in Portsmouth, NH. It is fantastic to look at, I highly recommend checking it out if you're around the area!
