Continuing on with our Artists of PHM series that we started last week, we bring you Vivienne Strauss, a self-taught artist who sees and paints through colorblind eyes creating some of the most daring and original color combinations while creating a vintage-modern schematic that is adorable and addictive. She enjoys working in many mediums: gouache paintings, collage and most recently has added embroidery to her repretoire. She does not have any formal training in the arts but does have a BA degree in Philosophy. Vivienne currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband and fellow artist, Matte Stephens.
