I've been spending a lot of time on my bike lately. Which, of course, has me dreaming of the sweetest bicycle accessories. Here are three I am absolutely loving:

1. Original bike helmets by Ruby Costume. Not something I can actually afford right now but a girl can dream. Go ahead, design one. That part will cost you nothing. Stripes or polka dots? Checked or solid? Lacquered, metallic or with glitter? And don't get me started on the color selection. For the record, I am partial to lagoon but that could change at any given moment. Sun yellow, caramel, ruby red, orange, pink. Even if I could afford one, how would I ever choose? I'm thinking I'd find a way.

2. Carrie Bicycle Baskets by Design House Stockholm. I'm pretty partial to old wicker bicycle baskets but these are seriously awesome.

3. Cycling Ankle Cuff in Pink Folk by Maked. I'm not sure I ride enough to warrant a cycling ankle cuff but let me tell you, I'm working on it. If it means I'll need to wear a cute cuff like this, well okay then. I'm officially motivated.

But it was lovely! (I've since settled for a wicker basket and I'm going to sew a pretty basket lining up for it, just to sweeten the look even more!)
1st - It is often not true white but a little off white, i am guessing it will probably yellow with time. this could be avoided with the bright green or black versions. But the white looks great on her baby blue schwinn.
2nd - It can't hold a lot of weight because of how it is designed to attach to the bike. I am going to work on making a new bracket for it that folds down and holds it from the bottom to support it better.
3rd- It does not work that great to actually carry it around. The rounded areas that stick out jab you in whatever soft area you would like. It would have been better to have them flatter on one side.
4th - Whatever you do, do not get it from Unica Home. One of the worse online shop[ping experiences, and will never ever shop there again. SF Moma carries it, which is where i saw it in person first. and small shops have them (a small boutique in Carmel Indiana had it)
5th - It is really cute in person.
